Almost time to pay next months rent...got my email statement. They don't take cash and they don't take checks. I remember at my 1st meeting they encouraged signing up for "recurring payments", through your debit, etc. Read all the fine print today and had to call the office for explanations. Statement is very confusing. And of course they'd like recurring payments (19.95 fee associated to do this). Even costs 0.95 to have the statement emailed, more if you use regular mail. They really do nickel and dime you, forced Direct TV (costs $40 per month added to your rent), you HAVE to pay this, you pay for trash removal, pest spraying (on the outside of the building), you can get it inside if you request it, water (but you don't pay the city for water you pay the complex and they calculate what you will pay). It'll be a long year :(
