A living embodiment of Expo '67
An architectural masterpiece, I happened upon it by chance as I was walking to the Parc Jean Drapeau and the Biosphere. From photos I had always thought of Habitat 67 as this sort of ugly Soviet brutalist thing but in person it is light, airy, and full of life.
That said, keep in mind that getting here is somewhat difficult and it is an apartment building not Disneyworld. But if you are walking, biking, or driving out to Parc Jean Drapeau and/or Ile Notre Dame you should absolutely stop for a minute or five to marvel at the wonder of it all. And perhaps dream for a moment of living in such a well designed space.
