I read the reviews from this place and was a little hesitant. However, the best way to form your opinion is to see for yourself, right? I went for a birthday dinner. We had a large party with a reservation and our waiter Mike was outstanding. He was patient and catered to our needs. This was a Tuesday night so I'm not sure if this would have been different on a high traffic night like a weekend. However, his personality was great!
I got the warm goat cheese salad and it was amazing. The apricot jalapeño vinaigrette is very good and compliments the entire dish. Everyone else got the highly recommended fried chicken. I had the option to taste this and let me tell you, IT WAS GREAT! Somebody's grandma is either in the back or gave this recipe for the chicken. The meat is tinder, juicy, and flavorful. The coating is crispy and very savory. It's served with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes.
Overall, this place was very good and I will definitely be back! Thanks, Mike!
