Love, love, love. This is my favorite place to eat at in Las Vegas, not only because of my almost unhealthy obsession with Japanese curry and the conveniently central location in Chinatown, but also because of the people who work here. The servers are unbelievably courteous, efficient, and always have a smile on their face. Every customer is greeted with an enthusiastic "Welcome!" and is seated almost immediately. The servers are also quick to let customers know if the wait time for a specific dish is projected to be longer than usual, so there are never any unpleasant surprises regarding that.
Although the menu isn't extensive, people who'd rather not have curry do have some other options, such as Takoyaki, Gyoza, and rice bowls, which are all pretty good. The food is prepared fast and timed just right, so orders for the same table come out at around the same time. It's definitely a perk when I go out with friends to eat and talk.
The portions are big considering the low price - just perfect for hungry broke college students. There is not all that much meat on the Beef Curry, but I usually get the Grilled Chicken Curry, which has a good meat-to-rice ratio and tastes fabulous. I come here at least once every month, and I have never had a bad experience. A day that involves Curry Zen is always a good day.
