3.5 -- this tiny fusion joint is hidden away in the back of Desoto Marketplace, a trendy little cluster of restaurants where hipsters hang out and drink vegetable smoothies (or not, the smoothie place was near dead).
The bao here are worthy of a try, we had pork and the albondigas which were tasty and wedged between a perfectly fluffy Asian dough bun. It's kinda like a dim sum taco :-) I also had the curried noodles, which came with some yummy grilled shrimp and was packed with fresh veggies. I simply didn't dig it though - the curry flavors were a bit over the top and just didn't fit with the noodles or the rest of the ingredients.
