Although I love these donuts, this location, not so much. After a few trips, i bought some donut holes and once I got all the way back home to Anthem I started to eat them and I tasted pine-sol. Strong! I was grossed out, but at the same time happy at them being so clean, that now there donuts taste like Pine-sol. My friend and I go out for donuts a few times a month. Well it's been a couple months since this pine-sole-donuts-hole incident, so we decided to go in this morning (4/15). We both ordered 2 donuts, I got a coconut top one and a crumb one & donut holes. She got a long john and a crumb as well. The donut holes were bomb. We ate our first donut and next I notice were both eating the crumb. I take one bite and think , hmmmm this is funky. Then I go back in for a second bite. Oh hell, again? Pine-sol!!! I say something to my friend who has stopped eating hers after two bites. And also says "yea, they taste funny. Let's ask to exchange". So we go to the lady and tell her, she has no problem "exchanging" them until she realizes we weren't going to pay for the new ones. She stops us confused and says "no you only get one". We said "right, we each bought one and are exchanging for one". She continues to protest and say "each donut was half eaten so you only get one". What? Are you serious? We each took two bites. After I told her this is the second time I've had donuts here tasting like Pine-sol here. Her customer service was still non-accommodating. :::thumbs down for me::::: I will be notifying the Arizona Department of Health Services and Poison control.
