I spent a little under two weeks at the Wyndham in Cleveland for business trip and had an almost uniformly positive experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive all across the board. My room was comfortable and clean, as was a co-worker's room which I spent some time in as well. Only a couple areas could use improvement: - The in-hotel gym is poorly setup. There's no reason that an exercise room should have a clock that doesn't have a seconds hand. I realize how insignificant this sounds, but it's indicative that the hotel simply didn't consult a fitness specialist before converting one of their conference rooms into a "gym". Poor ventilation, archaic treadmills, and limited machines make this room nearly unusable. - The breakfast served downstairs is abysmal and overpriced. The nearby A-Cafe serves a better breakfast for literally half the price. - The in-room temperature controls look fancy, but in reality they only have two settings: way too hot, and way too cold. Aside from these relatively minor issues, the Wyndham is a great place to stay. The staff clearly cares about their guests, and it shows.
