So, I get cravings for things every now and again. Today for lunch I had a craving for a nice Italian Chicken Parm sandwich. Having not yet tried Pino's Pizza, I went in for lunch and ordered take out. I had a beer while I waited and since the counter service was pleasant I left a $2 tip. Have you ever felt like you got ripped off? I mean, $20 for a sandwich and a beer for lunch.....wow. You'd think it was free range chicken imported from chicken heaven. But the bill wasn't the worst part. The sandwich ??? Noooooooooooooooooooo!! If I wanted boiled chicken breast, with a tablespoon of red sauce with mozzarella cheese, I would have gone to the local retirement village. This sandwich, though portioned right was AWFUL. The best thing about it was the roll. A chicken parm sandwich starts with italian bread crumb battered chicken, pan fried, with oh....let's say PARMESAN cheese, perhaps some melty provolone and a nice smothering of a FLAVORFUL red sauce. This had NONE of those components. First time, shame on you, there will be no second time despite the prior decent reviews.
