I got acrylic nails for the first time here.
The nail technician first used unsanitized cuticle pusher. Red lights flashed in my head as she started to drill of the cuticles but I didn't have to courage to tell her to stop (but I regret not doing it). Then she used a cuticle clipper to tug and rip off the hanging left over cuticles from the drilling.
Tools were not sanitized. The container for the drill bits were covered in nail dust.
One of the fingers got nipped by the drill and started bleeding. She told me it's normal and continued to put on the primer which make the cut feel like it was burning.
I felt anxiety from when she started to push my cuticles to when she ended the session with a hand massage.
The nail tech was a nice lady but the way she prepped my nails was unsanitary.
