Dear Summer Sip Series, you oh so perfectly define what summer means to me -- light bites, refreshing adult beverages, cool settings, and cooler people! This edition was brought to us by Harry and his wonderful team at Cien Agaves!
Service was spectacular! Everyone made sure to provide us with detailed explanations of the delicious drinks and drool-defining dishes, including ingredient lists and how they were prepared!
Drinks were equally spectacular! Adult beverages included the cucumber margarita, habanero-lime margarita, and frozen coconut margarita. Hornitos Tequila was the brand of tequila of choice for this evening... and will be my brand of choice for many other evenings! All three drinks were margarita perfection in their own way... but my sweet tooth's favorite was the frozen coconut with a caramel and shredded/toasted coconut rim! Go ahead, stop and salivate over the thought of that for a little while... I will wait.
Ok, back to the review!
The food was, you guessed it, spectacular as well! The steak nachos were out of this world good... and that steak was absolutely packed with flavor! The ceviche was light, refreshing, and crave-worthy! It paired well with the chips. The guac and chips... another winner on Cien Agave's menu!
Did you know that Cien Agaves means 100 agaves? In this case, it means over 100 different types of tequilas to choose from! So go ahead and try them all!
