The Laundry Room was the highlight of my recent visit to Las Vegas. Referred here by a fellow Yelper, we texted the listed number asking to making a reservation. We played text tag throughout the afternoon (so this may not be the place to contact on short notice) until a time was confirmed. Located in the Commonwealth, this place is easy for visitors to find - just beyond the end of the Fremont Street Experience and one block from a Deuce bus stop. The space is super intimate, with just a few tables and seats along the perimeter. We sat at a high top in the corner, taking in the old-timey appeal. House rules mean no phone calls or photos; we had probably the best date in a long time because we just kept our phones in our pockets. Every cocktail is $15 -- which is kinda great because you don't feel tempted to give up what you really want in exchange for a deal. The mixologist knows his stuff and makes expert drinks. We loved that he'd check in, ask questions, and provide recommendations. He was able to describe the cocktails perfectly, and we were very happy with our selections. And then there's the popcorn. It's delicious. I know, it's just popcorn - but seriously, it was so good.
