Recently checked this place out with a few friends. The building itself is a cool older house which displays artwork from local talented artists. There is an outdoor zen garden with swings to lounge on. There are outdoor benches and sitting room inside in addition to the bar. This place embodies the vibe Noda is known for.
We enjoyed $2 PBR drafts as we checked out old pictures of historic Charlotte on the wall. They source a good selection of local beer here with snacks available for purchase as well. Not quite famous as some of its neighbors, but a truly unique place to visit.
This place had a welcoming feel to it and was not as loud or busy as some of the other hotspots in Noda. My friend notified me that the owners always provide a free brunch on Sundays. Pretty hospitable place.
