Best free skating in Montreal!
This place is my favourite outdoor skating spot! Nestled in the middle of Parc Lafontaine in the very trendy Plateau Mont-Royal, it welcomes people of all ages. There are even areas to sit down when you need a well-deserved break. Open days and nights, it's a great place to spend an afternoon or an evening with friends. If you don't own skates, rentals are available. There are also lockers for boots so bring your lock. After you finish skating, why not visit the new café upstairs for a beer, a hot chocolate or a yummy French Onion Soup with aged gouda! Free has never been so fun!
