Finding the right bakery is usually a hassle especially when the Phoenix area feels like it's in a drought of dough. Traditional Panaderias, which serve delicious Mexican pastries, definitely have a market of their own and whilst Lilac doesn't offer that type of sweets, it does have a selection suited for those who have an immense sweet tooth. I ordered the lemon tarte which is usually my go to pastry (I love it) and was hoping for the best. Needless to say, the quality of the tarte was amazing! The lemon had a highly tangy flavor with the perfect crust, which I am highly particular of. I had been recommended this bakery by family and friends who love to stop by often for their delicious menu!
