Unless you want to deal with employees who have potatoes instead of brains, then MAC may not be for you. Besides ONE nice cashier in a different location a year ago, I have had nothing but horrendous experiences at MAC. I only drop by when I have to restock on products I need. So you walk into this expensive store, planning to spend a lot of money, and instead are treated like an idiot. For example, during my last visit, I had to wait 15 minutes to ask an employee if they have lipliners that are new and not used/sharpened like the ones on the display table. Bimbo #1 says she doesn't understand and walks away. Thanks. So I ask Bimbo #2 in a way that a toddler can understand, and she says "Um...I don't know what you're talking about" 50 times before saying "Even if the pencils are different sizes, they have the same amount of product." ...Are you saying that a liner the size of my pinky has the same amount of product as a liner more than twice the size? I am not spending over $20 on a liner that's been used over 150 times. Oh and if you don't buy what they recommend or only buy one item, they'll walk away and laugh/ignore you. AND be prepared to wait a very long time, because on previous trips I had to wait 45 minutes and ask 5 times for a lipstick because the girls were too busy talking to each other. Girls, you work at a makeup counter. You're not Kardashians, and are no better than regular people. I've also heard stories of customers encountering racism and discrimination by MAC employees. I swear 95% of the time, MAC only hires good-looking staff whose brains are filled with ego instead of IQ. Unless you need a specific product from there, please go to Sephora instead. MUCH better service and staff.
