This was my worst experience with a mechanic shop ever. Brought them a truck with a check engine light on and $2,300 and 3 months later my truck is still not running. After the initial diagnostic I was given a call by Taylor(the since been fired manager at the time) Telling me the problem is the catalytic converter. He also said the truck needs new tires and brakes for a total of $2,300. Now I was very reluctant to spend that kind of money on this particular truck as it was only worth about $3,500 but Taylor promised me everything else on the truck looked like it was in great condition and I shouldn't have any problems with this truck for a long time. So I said ok go ahead and do it. Picked up the truck and drove it a block...check engine light comes on and now the truck struggles to run. Bring it right back to them. After they looked at it again Taylor calls me and now I have a cylinder with low compression. Taylor promises he will make it right. Weeks go by and Taylor still says they will fix it just give them time. A couple weeks later and now Taylor has been fired, the new manager(Tyler) says they cannot fix the issue for me and says the engine needs a rebuild. Now I am looking at a total repair job costing twice what this truck is worth. So now I am expecting this company to do the honorable thing and give me a break on the original repair. If I knew all of this from the beginning I would have just junked the truck. For all I know they were the ones that caused this issue in the first place as the truck ran fine(other than the check engine light) when I initially brought it to them. I took this issue all the way to corporate who was still unwilling to work with me. They sold me a catalytic converter, tires, and full brake job on a truck that also needed an engine rebuild. They either misdiagnosed my vehicle or hid the fact that the engine was shot in order to sell me on these other parts. These are very dishonest people going all the way up to corporate. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card. A final note. I brought this company multiple other trucks in the same month. My total spending was over $7,000 in one month and they still treated me like this. There is no honor or decency in this company. Oh and Tyler(the second manager) lied to me about checking the oil on another truck I had there. He told me the oil was a little low and they topped it off. Luckily I didn't believe him and after picking the truck up I drove it straight to the gas station to check the oil... nothing on the dipstick what a surprise. There is now a third manager at this shop replacing Tyler and he is also unwilling to help.
