I am updating my review, I do feel like I wrote my last review in the heat of the moment. To be totally honest I still will not go back to southwest dental but the dental hygienist who cleaned my daughters' teeth was very friendly and helpful, my daughter said her name is Karen. She gave me a tip to get my girls to brush their teeth better and floss and made the girls feel at ease. I have to admit I don't enjoy filling out paperwork so I got frustrated with the front office staff because the paperwork felt redundant. I appreciate they are just doing their jobs and have no control over it but there is no excuse for asking for information I have already given. You got a new system so you should put the info you already have into that system that should not be my responsibility, it's a waste of paper and a waste of my time. I don't have a problem checking the info you have for errors but to ask me to fill out paperwork like I am a new patient asking about how I found out about this office!?! I also asked because I was filling out paperwork for my minor children, if they had forms that were for kids since the forms they gave me asked for spouse info and obviously they are not married, I was told no that I had to fill that form out. I did apologize to the front desk before I left for my attitude because I don't like to be rude to people who are just trying to do their jobs. And I appreciate that Erica called me the next day to apologize but she asked for me to remove my yelp review (and she mentioned that there was a form for children that I could have filled out). I really considered her request but I couldn't remove the review and it wouldn't be the truth if I changed this into an awesome review because every time I have been into this dentist office the experience has been unsatisfactory in my opinion. I should also mention another huge issue is they are always running late, that is so frustrating! I want to be in and out as quickly as I can and that never happens.
