I had a cut/color with Shari in mid December. I love the shop- is so warm, welcoming and friendly. She was suggested to me by a friend since I do funky hair colors and its hard to find someone that does them well. I was offered cookies( made by her husband ) and a beverage. She spent plenty of time doing a consult and telling me what she thought would look good.. and she was so right! Her other stylist was working on a woman who was also doing funky hair. Anytime someone came in to the shop it was like they were family. I am going back again and going to try Jen( not cause I didn't like Shari) but I saw a color Jen recently did that I fell in love with. As far as prices, I do not think they are cheaper than a fancy salon but I would much rather pay a local person who knows color than a chain anyday!
