First of all I feel scammed here. Why didn't I read the Yelp reviews beforehand? I would have avoided this place like the plague. We got a fast talking rep at the counter, Carmen. I gave her a copy of my Costco Travel rental car reservation. Whenever I rent a car I always decline additional insurance as I've got AAA insurance which I specifically told her. Carmen is fast talking during the entire transaction and says we must have minimum insurance coverage. Oh, o.k. Not knowing we are paying additional $26 more each day. She says sign here and here on a digital tablet, and we do. It wasn't until she hands us a hard copy of the rental agreement and we look at it later that we see the additional charge. I ask if we can we get it back, and she just giggles. Avoid Budget at all cost. Unscrupulous business practices. We ended up paying an additional $104.00. Subsequently I wrote an email to customer service disputing the $104.00. Of course the rep sides with Carmen based on the written agreement that we agreed to optional liability insurance. Sign here, and sign here on a small digital screen doesn't allow the consumer to read it in total. Too bad for Budget as they've lost what could have been a repeat customer.
