I've been taking my 4 year-old to EVCC since she was about 1 1/2. I've never been a huge fan and recently I had a very bad experience there. After taking the fully prescribed meds (antibiotics), my daughter was still sick, with the same symptoms she had when I first took her in. I was told to bring her back in if treatment didn't work, which I assumed would be viewed as a continuation of the original visit since they failed to treat her properly, however they decided to charge us a brand new fee. With this kind of philosophy it is better for them to keep the kids sick and not heal them, since they will just keep paying to come in. I feel that EVCC really just cares about the bottom line, which is money. They don't care about you or your children, they just want you to be happy enough to maintain your service. They get kids in and out as fast as possible to get the next 'customer'. I would prefer a medical center and a pediatrician who cares more about my child then money. Extremely disappointing.
