What a dump! My husband and I booked a night here, just to get a night out from the kids. It's close to our home, so it gave me peace of mind. Check-in was average, no stellar concierge service here, but not quite rude either. However upon entering the room I was completely grossed out. Milwaukee's Best empties crumpled up and thrown in the corner of the room and it smelled like the rat pack had done a show in there recently, with yellowish fog and the stank of stale smoke. We should have complained ( I don't know why we didn't) so maybe that's on us... Still, I think if your cleaning people were doing their job, there would not be beer cans just hanging out. (maybe our room was actually the employee lounge?) Also our toilet was broke, as well as our bathroom faucet. We called the front desk and they never sent anyone to fix it. We still went out and had a great time at a few local bars and then checked out early the next morning. I called them about two days later, because after we left, I started thinking and stewing over this experience. Alas true to form, they could have cared less. No apology not even shock on their end. If you are looking for a better hotel experience, save your money and crash across the street in that snappy rapid station.
