I've been wanting to try both Thai Cuisine and Thai Gourmet since they're within a few blocks of one another. My verdict is that I prefer Thai Gourmet, food-wise anyway. However, there's no doubt that the overall atmosphere is much better at Thai Cuisine. Thai Cuisine feels cleaner and better decorated. In terms of the food, I ordered curry and it was okay. I thought it was very mild in comparison to Thai Gourmet. My husband ordered Hawaiian fried rice and also thought it was ok. It smelled smoky but lacked the taste to match it. One thing I really did enjoy was the fried chicken dumplings, but the downfall is you only get four (and they're tiny!). Thai Cuisine was about average to me. I would consider coming back to try it again.
