Our original dinner plans for the night was yakiniku however for some reason Gyu-kaku was packed so we called a Yelp audible and settled on this place. Asian Fusion is what drew us to this place.
Their claim to fame is here is the lobster pho ($33 mkt price today) which of course I did not order!
Fish Sauce Hot Wings 5*.
For those of you who do not know, this is the business. I know it sounds strange but the fish sauce glaze was very well put together and gave the wings a subtle salty flavor.
Oxtail Loco Moco 3*
This dish was very deceiving as it was not a true loco moco. I was expecting the hamburger patty smothered in the oxtail gravy and topped with an egg. Instead, all I got was oxtail gravy and an egg. So basically it was just gravy rice topped with an egg.
Oxtail fries 4*
I like their rendition of the oxtail fries. It was generous serving. the gravy was loaded with the oxtail meat and not just essence of oxtail like those other guys (bachi)
Spring Rolls 4*
These were your standard fair spring rolls. They were served the real way with leafy lettuce to wrap them up and eat with. On point!
Vietnamese Carpaccio 3*
This was a very cool and different take on traditional carpaccio. It was like eating the raw beef steak that comes with pho. .
Birdnest Noodles 3*

I enjoyed all of the food that we ordered and think that we got a good sample of what this place is all about! I give this place credit in the creativity and skill in creating these dishes. Vietnamese food is very strong in flavor and can often be overpowering for the novice eater. This place is a good starter for those who aren't familiar with Vietnamese food but want to give it a try. For those of us who grew up on these flavors this place is a breath of fresh air from the traditional...
