My husband and I were shopping for a washer and dryer at Spencers a few Saturdays ago. We were not greeted by any of the employees. We found our way to the washer/dryer section but had a few questions. There were two salesmen working with customers yet completely ignoring us. We returned to the front of the store and stood within feet of counter where one salesman was on the phone. There were several behind that counter but again, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Disgusted, we left the store. We ended up spending $1500 at Home Depot. We vowed never to return to Spencer - old store or new . .
