Came here with my office for appetizers. Dated place, slow service. This is the worst food I have ever had in Phoenix. It is inedible. This is NOT MEXICAN FOOD. Salsa - The tomato base comes from a can of tomato sauce, with added pieces of onion. Had one taste and was sickening. You are better off buying a salsa from the grocery store. In fact, why they don't just do that? Buy the big jars from Costco. Most likely cost. Low quality giving highest returns. Beans - Again, cheap can of refried beans with no taste and sweet after-taste (awful). Better to buy a can of beans at the grocery store than this crap. Hundred times better tasting. Cheese quesadilla - I took a look at that and just couldn't stomach it. Taquitos - just bad. Guacamole - smoothie-like consistency, likely frozen variety. Why can't they just buy the fresh guacamole that all the grocery stores sell? Why do they have to serve this garbage? The one thing that was OK was the queso fundido with spinach. Needless to say there were tons of leftovers. Overall, a terrible place for happy hour.
