This is a good reliable hotel, near the Convention Center and at the part of the Vegas Strip near the Wynn, Encore, Venetian, Trump, Treasure Island, SLS area, really close to what now used to be the Riviera. If you're attending events in that area, this is a good alternative for lodging, especially for pricing. I was able to book a room here for $38/night via Orbitz. However know that there is a $28/night "resort fee" so after taxes and fees my all-in came out to $70/night which isn't bad compared to their peers in the area. It's walking distance (or a $10 each way cab ride) to the strip.
They have an innovative offer too, where for every night you stay where the staff would change your sheets and clean your room if you do the "Go Green" option, you waive the request to get your room done and they'll give you a $10 voucher used towards food, drink or merchandise every day (for a 2 night stay 'tho, that equals 1 voucher as an FYI). Not a bad deal when you think about it.
The room came with a fridge for free to store your own cold stuff, which is nice, since even The Wynn doesn't have that without a fee or having it loaded with their own stuff they want to sell you.
The room has free but unsecured WiFi as part of the resort fee, as well as a gym and pool that is part of that $28 fee.
It's in a safe area ('tho to get from the strip to the hotel at night you may want to take a cab or Uber) that is convenient to walk to. I'm not sure if there's any courtesy shuttle or not.
If you're attending an event at the Convention Center this is actually the perfect and best hotel to stay at.
The rooms are clean, spacious and no-frills. The TV's and channel reception are a bit sub-par, but it's rare to care to use the television when in Vegas anyway.
The bathrooms are nice but have the shower/tub combo (stand in your tub to take a shower as opposed to an individual shower stall). Mine had some random hairs (from previous guests) in the tub/shower, which doesn't freak me out but may disturb others.
You can check out via your TV, that's a helpful hint as opposed to standing in the live line downstairs for in-person check out.
I'd recommend this as a hotel worth $100 (all in) or less per night, so if you see a rate at $75 or less, and most other hotels are over $100, this could be the place you want to stay at.
It's the type or style of hotel you'd take your wife or family, very comfy, casual, practical and convenient... not necessarily for your mistress, girlfriend or a hot date you want to impress with polish and prestige.
