In the midst of George Brown College, Richmond campus and right next to Gallery 260 is the aptly named Cafe 260. I've been here twice on the Indie Passport, once for take out and once to stay. First time around it was a weekday, and there were a few people comfortably settled in cozy chairs. The folks behind the counter were helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I asked about their flavoured lattes and was overwhelmed with the list of choices and combinations, so I went with my old standby, a soy latte, which was lovely - rich and smooth and beautifully presented with a flower crafted in the foam. I seriously did not want to cover it up with a lid. Next time out, on a Saturday, I was with my Passport partner who chose an almond milk latte flavoured with chocolate. It looked yummy, with a three-dimensional, chocolate-dusted crest of foam on top. He also ordered a toasted bagel and we stayed for a while, leafing through the newspaper and enjoying the quiet of the afternoon. We'd absolutely come back again.
