Uh.. Ten is weird, I don't know. I'm a huge EDM fan but there doesn't seem to be much of a scene for it in Calgary, and that shows at TEN. I went to see a DJ with my friend here and even with that, the place was practically empty. The crowd is a mix of electronic fans and frightening potential gang members.. which isn't totally atypical for this kind of music crowd. When a poster in the bathroom advertising events at TEN referred to them as "partys" it was no longer a surprise why this place is virtually empty on a Friday with a guest DJ. Maybe this place sucks because no one cares about it? A bit of a shame.
