I purchased my car from Earnhardt Nissan and have had all of the service done there. I used to work with Jared and never had any issues. When they switched to East Valley Nissan it seemed to me that the service department stayed the same. However, my experience yesterday was horrible!
I took my car in for an oil change and asked for my brakes to be checked. About an hour after I dropped it off Josh called and told me that the brakes looked ok but there were some other issues. After a few calls back and forth he quoted me what I would be responsible for paying and said the warranty would cover the rest. He also said my car would be ready by that afternoon and I kept having to call and inquire about the status because after they got my business they stopped calling me
I picked up my car a half hour before they closed. The snobby girl at the desk told me there was no charge for my service and gave me my keys and some papers so I headed out. Then she chased me down and said they were printed wrong and I owed $253. That was significantly over the cost Josh told me my oil change and battery replacement would be. I asked why the bill was so high and she could not answer my questions. Josh came over and attempted to explain that his service technicians broke my battery terminal connection so I had to to pay to replace them. They charged me $38 in sales tax for $180 worth of parts even though I was told numerous times I was only paying taxes on the parts not covered by warranty. Josh was unable to explain to me why the tax was so high. I was so frustrated at this point I just paid and left. I will not be bringing my car back to the dealership for service. Stay away at all costs.
