Despite the ridiculous prices we decided to give this place a try thinking maybe it would be really good. It wasn't. $37 for a 12 piece chicken tender with no sides? The chicken strips were too dry and almost chewy, stringy. They shredded as you bit into them. I'm assuming that's overdone. The breading was overdone and the flavor wasn't great. The hush puppies were awful, dry, no flavor. The sandwiches were nothing special and neither was their house sauce which they don't give you as a side for dipping the chicken, it's just on the sandwiches and with the hush puppies. They have a "dip bar" that consists of horribly sweet bbq sauce, honey and a couple spicy honey sauces. The ranch, that's not out on the dip bar, was decent. The mashed potatoes and gravy were mediocre, slightly better than a KFC. The fries, while some may like, weren't my thing. They are a shoe string fry that seem to be dusted in a coating and maybe double fried, not sure. Overall for the price and the fact that we didn't try anything that would make us want to come back, we won't be back. Nothing we had was disgusting, just not good and overpriced. If you want chicken tenders, stick with Canes.
