I have been a member of planet fitness for a couple of years now. this location is the worst! The location is extremely small and they offer far less (as far as equipment goes then the others in the area) They have no kettle bells, No dumb bells with the standard long bars, also there is no 360 cross fit machine which most locations have now as well. One day this past July I stopped in to workout at this location and didn't see the dumb bells with the long bars and I asked the front desk; they said, "We don't have them here." I asked why and said ALL locations had them. The gentleman said, "Yes people ask for them allot but the owner here won't get them." I stopped in on another occasion due to time restriction of getting to my normal location; I asked the manager there if they would be getting any or if they would consider getting these because they were in ALL the other locations. He didn't even hesitate to say "No". Seems that this location doesn't take into consideration that they should at least listen to the members and upgrade the location with equipment that is requested if at all possible. Today 2/18 I am meeting a friend to workout with and we want to do cardio and a kettle bell full body workout, (Mind you; every location I have been in has kettle bells) knowing this location had no dumb bells, I felt I had better call to see if they had kettle bells... When I called to ask if they had kettle bells so that I could plan a workout with a friend today; the female who answered the phone said, "we don't have kettle bells; we have been here since 2007 so we don't offer the newer equipment like the newer locations do." Hmmm seems to me that there should be additional equipment purchased. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone... They have very standard equip and it is obvious they don't care what the members want.
