So disappointed. We have been loyal Stamps customers and spent thousands of dollars here on oil changes and repairs. The star is merely for the friendly and prompt service of the past but the overpricing and dishonesty means we will never return. Not sure what happened to Richard but we have not seen him for quite awhile and we trusted him but not the staff who has served us lately. We brought in our new (used) vehicle to have them do a new vehicle inspection while we were still in our dealership return period. They gave us an extensive list of issues with the van, many listed as dire repairs needed. We had a mechanic neighbor(who owned his own shop for over 20 years) look at the van and the repair list and of the list of 10-15 recommended repairs, he said only one was true. He gasped when he saw the $1100 quoted and said the engine mount part cost no more than $100 and labor wasn't extensive (he is charging us $60). We were feeling such dread about our new car and the repair money that we do not have to invest. We even considered returning it to the dealership after Stamp's repair list. After seeing a more trustworthy mechanic, we will never be back to Stamps.
