I have been here a few times - 2 times to eat. The first time was okay. The 2nd time was really interesting. I ordered the ploughman's platter. The dish came and was shockingly small for the price (13 dollars-ish). I'll list it here: small hand full feild greens 3 pickled onions, 3 pickled gerkins 3 1 mm thick 1 inch triangles of some sort of white cheese A hard bun (grilled dry) 3 1 mm thick slices of cucumber 1 egg in batter (can't recall what they call it). So, I was really disappointed visually - but thought I'd go ahead and try it - I took a bite of the egg and it was really gummy and bland (scotch egg I think?). So waiter comes over, says - everything okay - I said - no this platter is not what it states on the menu and the egg is not good ..it's just hard dry bread .. So, he took it away. Comes back - says do you want a menu - I said sure. He said - oh but you realize i'm charging you for that dish - there wasn't anything actually wrong with it - like moldy or anything - it's the owner's policy not mine. I was double shocked - 1st - why didn't you tell me that before dumping my plate in a bin - 2 there was plentry wrong with it! So, I wouldn't go back - I paid 13 dollars (minus a 10% discount I think) for a bite of egg - cheers to that.
