I was convinced by friends to give Johnny Mac's another shot... And I am really thankful I did!
Johnny Mac's was recently renovated, however I have only gotten to go orders since that occurred so my review will focus on that.
Maybe my initial visit was on an off day, the quality of the pizzas I have been getting over the last year from Johnny Mac's are leaps and bounds above the sad pie we were served back in 2011. I usually have special requests for my pizzas and they always get my food right here.
Pizzas here have an excellent sauce to cheese to topping ratio. Prices are a little higher than some of the other pizza spots in the area, and Johnny Mac's seems to be busy all day, every day so there can be longer-than-expected waits for picking up orders (and finding a spot to park can also be difficult at times) but overall, I am a fan of the renovated Johnny Mac's.
