My first trip to the Cracked Egg & it was pretty good. I have passed this place a million times & have heard of it over the years that I have lived here, but had never made it in. So one day on a whim & the fact that I was starving, we ventured down here on a Sunday, fairly early I might add, so the wait wasn't too bad. It was still pretty busy, which is always a good sign ;) I perused the menu & finally decided on the Sweet potato skillet, however, I opted for ham instead of bacon. It was definitely interesting. Sweet potatoes, green apples, muenster cheese, ham, grilled onions & an egg over easy to top it off, with a side of coffee cake as well. It was pretty good, considering the sweet potatoes could've been seasoned a little better, nothing a lil hot sauce couldn't fix though ;) I would probably order it again. The coffee cake was super moist & delicious too, and I'm not a huge coffee cake fan either. I would definitely come back & look forward to trying some of the other menu items.
