We were in a celebratory mood (more on this in late March for my fellow Yelpers) and we've always had a good experience here. However, one of the orders didn't meet expectations.
Overall, the food was decent (3.5/5) except for one meal which brought the rating down. That was the Reuben sandwich. Now, it passed the eye test but did poorly on taste. The corned beef was too fatty and the thousand island dressing tasted stale as did the bread. Just not a good example of a classic sandwich.
The other dishes were fine (4/5) I had the steak salad and the beef was very good and the chicken pasta dish garnered good praise.
The service was excellent (5/5) and we had this waitress before and she was consistent and friendly.
We'll dine here again but it may be awhile before we do.
