Meh, It didn't live up to the reviews. It's a bit pretentious and probably best left to the foodies. I like to try local wines and asked specifically about them twice, but still had to search through the very large wine list to find something local to AZ and under $100. To be fair my husband is pretty picky, but he ordered a filet medium without the peppercorn/tomato butter. He got a very rare steak. He ate around the edges and when the waitress checked in she took it back to be cooked longer, however still came back very rare. We didn't want to send it back a second time so essentially wasted 1/4 of a $38 steak. And I didn't want tomatoes or salmon on my chopped salad, so we probably insulted someone's sensibilities by changing their "vision"- I think they were so upset they forgot to put the truffle oil on my truffle Mac & cheese ( really Mac and béchamel) making not worth the calories. However, that chopped salad was amazing ( even without tomatoes and salmon). Bottom line: this place is for open minded (and "palated") people who are comfortable in places that have an overblown sense of who/what they are.
