Beautiful place for a coffee! Great location at queen and broadview - a great place to stop when strolling through Leslieville.
note that this is an espresso bar, so they serve 3$ americanos in place of a coffee.That being said, the americano was delicious!!! and they have soya milk.
I love the decor- I think the place is beautiful. However, when it comes to seating, it's seriously lacking. There are 4 armchairs - 2 which are right next to the bathroom; the rest of the seats are super uncomfortable! Would it kill them to get some padded chairs?? And while the big communal table looks good, the seats are all bolted to the floor.
The staff seemed disinterested and unhappy to be there - I like my coffee hangouts to be friendly, so a bit of a turnoff. At first I thought it was just cause it was new year day, but after reading other reviews, I think it's just standard fare.
I will go back and maybe try a latte, but only if there's a comfortable chair free.
