They are literally the WORST. They give no notice if they are going to disconnect you, even if it's the DAY AFTER your bill is due (and two days before payday). Then they tack on a $70 reconnect fee just to inconvenience you more! Calling customer service is a joke; they are extremely rude and refuse to transfer to a supervisor. "Sorry, there's nothing I can do to help you." Then why are they paying you to take my call?!
When we had a leak in our main line due to their crappy piping, we had to pay for the repair IN ADDITION to several hundreds of extra dollars per month for "water usage" from the leak. They are apparently the only water company in AZ that won't adjust your bill if there's a leak.
I cannot say enough bad things about this shady company. They are the single worst thing about Maricopa and we are planning to move JUST so we never have to deal with them and their shady business practices again. If I could give them negative stars, I would. If I could replace them with anyone else, I would. I hope they go out of business and starve. I hate them with all of my cold, black heart.
