We had a wonderful time stand up paddling on Lake Las Vegas. Although we usually paddle on the open ocean in Hawaii, we thought it would be fun to try doing so on a lake. The Lake Las Vegas area is beautiful. The Loews hotel kind of reminds me of Manele Bay on the island of Lanai. Kathy was super explaining in which direction we should go since it was on a windy day. The ride back to the hotel was fun with the wind pushing us back...we just had to steer. We look forward to going back in September.
