I'm too used to the 99 ranch markets in California filled with fresh groceries and an overly abundance of Asian families (and specifically Asian moms that push and shove their way through the aisles!). Whenever I come here (and honestly, I only come here to get needed ingredients because it's the closest Asian grocery to me), I feel let down. There's no hustle and bustle. Much like the atmosphere, I feel like I'm dead when I'm strolling through the aisles. I find that Mekhong Market and Lee Lees have much fresher produce (never mind their auto 10% discount off your total...). Super L Ranch Market gets two stars from me because: 1. the workers are nice 2. the bakery dept is kept very clean (though I never get anything from there) 3. they carry Taiwan beer
