Crook and liar. Unethical. Unprofessional. Don't waste a penny with this guy. We used Edwin through our home warranty company to replace a disconnect in March. My home warranty at the time didn't cover disconnects so I paid $200 out of pocket. Come May when we had a couple of 100 degree days and our AC goes out. A new company comes out and diagnosis the problem as an improperly installed disconnect, thereby voiding my home warranty coverage. Edwin had installed a 30 amp disconnect for a min 33 amp unit. I called Edwin to ask for a refund and he started screaming at me and asked me to write him a letter asking why he should give me a refund. He also said he needed to call the manufacturer to see if the 30 amp disconnect was correct or not. Really?!? You didn't know that before hand Edwin? Is that not the reason the fuse kept blowing? I then asked Edwin to stay on the line and we could conference call the manufacturer he just hung up with. Edwin then started yelling again and hung up the phone on me. To validate my claim, I called 3 other AC repair companies and all stated you can't install a 30 amp disconnect for my unit based on the model number.
