Dr. Grove and his PA, Brittany Jones are true professionals with hearts. They bleed compassion that is consistent and authentic. They both are outstanding listeners and, for me, courageously treated me at a moment when I was slipping in to full blown opioid addiction, after being a patient of theirs for two years. Instead of treating me like scum or a drug seeker, they both took the time to keep me engaged in their practice and help me. Heck, they listened to my fears and practically played psychologist for me a few times. Along the way, we've changed the way my pain is being managed and I'm 100% free of narcotics. There's no way I could've or would've shared my vulnerabilities and been so honest with any other Dr.'s the way I was with Dr. Grove and Brittany Jones. I was walking through hell and, looking back, I can say - rather mellow-dramatically, perhaps - they were holding my hand to get me out of it as fast as I could.
The entire staff adheres to the same attitude of positive reenforcement and kindness that Dr. G. and Brittany display.
If you're being referred to a Pain Specialist by your GP and it's NOT Dr. Grove (or his office), my recommendation is to ask if Dr. Grove is in their network, and then ask to be referred to him. He's a true vanguard in his field, and a great man with a big heart.
