One word..gross! I will start by saying I tried to bring these concerns to the facility and when I felt like my concerns were dismissed I decided to write this review. We visited there about two weeks ago, the place is fun, and the kids in my party really enjoyed themselves. However, shortly after our visit THREE of the kids (they all go to different schools and live in different households) in our party were diagnosed with Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. For those of you that don't know, HFMD is a highly contagious predominantly pediatric virus that is commonly found on surfaces like those at KTR. Since the virus is so contagious I thought I was doing my due diligence when I called KTR to notify a supervisor of the diagnosis. When I eventually was able to speak to someone in a supervisor's role, I told her what had happened and that I was just looking to notify them. Her response was, "Yeah, well, we clean our mats twice a week." Let's bypass the adolescence in her response and her complete and utter disregard for my concern and let's focus on the two-times-a-week part of that statement. Eww! Two times a week when literally hundreds of kids are all over those mats everyday? From a nurse's perspective, that fact is appalling and disgusting. We absolutely will not be returning.
