I had previously given this studio a solid five star rating, but recent experiences have motivated me to change my review. My husband and I took a class last week with a new instructor (Amy Peters) and were quite bothered by the number of "F" words and other profanities that managed to come out of her mouth during a 50 minute class. From complaining about how the recent hurricanes "ruined my trip to celebrate my f-ing divorce" (?? not very sensitive to complain about a vacation when thousands lost their homes), to talking about how f-ing wasted she got over the weekend, bragging about how her liver is ruined but she doesn't need it, and several other inappropriate references and innuendos during class-- the only impression we got of her was "trashy". This is NOT how a high end cycle studio should represent itself and I am quite disappointed that management allows behavior like this from instructors. I am now embarrassed to send friends and co-workers to this location for fear they will register for a class where language like this occurs. I have been spinning for 10+ years and have had plenty of amazing instructors that are able to motivate without making the language R-rated. We attempted to reach the manager with this concern but received no response.
