This hike is awesome and it is now my favorite hike in Nevada so far! The boulders were both challenging but definitely do-able for people in decent shape. Some of the ropes were cut but we were able to make it to the river which was beautiful. There were 1-2 ropes left that we did use... Please check the ropes before you use them as some are frayed quite a bit. This is a good hike for a small group but not the best small children or dogs... My own personal opinion. It took us about 4 hours and we spent some time at the river and hot spring.
