This is your typical breakfast buffet with the addition of crepes - yum, yum! Unfortunately, it was not as good as it used to be. We found that several things on the buffet were cold, the corned beef hash now has ground up corned beef where in the past it was pieces, the turkey bacon as sitting in water and there was very little fresh fruit available.
When we mentioned these things to the manager he did not seem to care. He had a answer for everything from "the turkey bacon is just an inferior product" to "we can't make any money if we put out better/more fruit and berries". It was very shocking.
All of this could have been OK if we would have had better service. We were asked what we would like to drink when we paid (on the way in) and the drinks were delivered while we were getting our food. I ordered hot tea with cream and I was given two Earl Grey teabags. As I wanted plain black tea (i.e. English Breakfast) I tried to find our waiter to have the teabags changed out, but he was nowhere to be found. I was half done with my first plate of food before he ever came out of the back. We waved him down and I told him what I would like and he left the table without asking anyone else if they needed anything - and they did. He returned with my teabags and one person asked for water and he turned to leave again without asking if there was anything else. We grabbed him before he left, but I'm sure this is why he was not around - I saw him helping one person at a table at a time instead of helping the whole table.
They definitely need to do some training - for both their servers and management!!
