The Crown Tavern isn't the sort of place I woluld go to enjoy a nights drinking but it is a very nice place to go for a meal. They have an extensive and varied menu and do meal deals which makes the food very reasonably priced.
The pub is slightly run down and could down with decorating and some new furniture but it is still a very nice place to eat. it doesn't generally get that busy so you shouldn't have a problem getting a table.
The drinks are typical of any pub but they don't do a massive selection of beers and nothing unusual just the normal brands.
