Make sure you check the expiration date before you buy because not everything is super fresh.
I bought a package of porkchops the other day, and 1/3 of the package had already went bad by the time I opened it later that afternoon. Although the prices are still cheaper than normal stores even with the bad few chops, you do have to be extra cautious to make sure you don't get sick. I think the best things to buy here are probably the snacks and non-perishables. These are less likely to be bad when you open them.
I do like Aldi's quite a lot though, overall, just based on the amount of savings you can earn. It's almost quite literally half the price of the big stores. I'd definitely come back again and again.
