My wife wanted to go to Handlebar J for a bite and some dancing. I would never eat there again. Our waitress admitted it was her first night serving after a couple questions about what beer was on tap. We appreciated her honesty. But it was all down hill from there. It took more than an hour to get our dinner, the second round of drinks we ordered took more than 35 minutes. Finally when we asked what the heck was going on we were told our waitress had left... note to management train staff on non busy nights and suggest your servers know your menu before serving. The final slap in the face was when the bill came and we were charged the regular price for the special of the day Ribs.. wtf you make me wait over an hour for mediocre food, and then overcharge me? Not a place I'd go back to and eat EVER again and I'd suggest you eat somewhere else and THEN come to dance.
And oh yeah, did I mention the $5 cover to come in and eat dinner? Who charges a $5 cover to have crappy food and poor service? I won't again
